CICADA’S

Have you ever wondered about the the life cycle and facts about the cicada,if so I’ll tell you.

Firstly the adult cicadas lay the eggs in trees, when they hatch they fall to the ground and start digging down into the earth, they stay there for a a few weeks and later come out and start shedding their skin.

Secondly after they shed their skin they will find a mate, lay eggs, live for about four to six weeks and die. Lastly the new eggs hatch and the whole process repeats. There are also about 3000 known species of cicadas.

So there you go,a brief report on the cycle of a cicada, and a few facts.
Hope you enjoyed and sorry if it’s short.
